Kattan went to Dubai with her father in 2006 when she got a job as a teacher in the emirate. Kattan traveled to Los Angeles a few years later to study makeup.
Kattan established a beauty-related WordPress site called “Huda Beauty” in April 2010 at the request of one of her sisters, where she would write about cosmetics tutorials and beauty tips.
Kattan launched a cosmetics line named “Huda Beauty” in 2013, the same title as her blog. Her first product was a line of fake eyelashes, which became quite popular with customers.
